Mission Statement

The mission of Lansing Community College's (LCC) American Marketing Association (AMA) is to provide professional development, social interactions and networking events to offer connections and real-world business experience to our members. AMA accomplishes this by providing support to local organizations through the development of marketing plans, promotional projects, and sales campaigns.

The Lansing Community College American Marketing Association (LCC AMA) was established in 1980 at LCC and continues to provide students with opportunities to: apply their educational learning with hands-on experience, leadership possibilities to direct and lead a team, network for future employment locally or internationally, professional development, personal development, give back to the community, work on projects from beginning to end, and work alongside focused and driven peers looking for success. Our chapter competes every year in an International Collegiate AMA Conference hosted in New Orleans. We compete in areas of Communication, Community Service, Fundraising, Membership, Professional Development, and Chapter Operations as a whole.
